Mainstream Islamic researcher, Sheik Gumi, has said for uncertainty in Nigeria to be handled, the government needs to consider giving outlaws willing to try for some degree of reconciliation ‘cover absolution’.
Sheik Gumi said this today February 19 while tending to newsmen in Niger state after his gathering with the crooks who grabbed 27 understudies in the Public authority Science School Kagara.
“The Federal government should give them blanket amnesty, then if somebody continue, then we will deal with them,” Sheik Gumi said while giving updates on the demands of the bandits.
He clarified that a portion of the grievances of the outlaws are that they were being slaughtered and damaged shamefully.
“The outcome is very positive. We have many factions and each faction is saying I have complaints and grievances, we are persecuted, we are arrested, we are lynched” the cleric said
